this is for the ediffication of the mod who told me to get my dog off cam last night because it was against the rules...

à can't see anywhere that is says u can't show ur pet to someone on cam...it's hardly a issue (which was the justification given) if all u can see is their head and shoulders (he's a bloody big dog lol), and I've seen loads of folks showing their pets, dogs and cats, on cam before.
so, if someone tells u it's against the rules, ask them to point u in the direction of the page that states this, coz i can't find it.
andy
:P well posted andy dont know which asshole cited you for sam comming across cam lots. off times a few off our lot came in view off cam ,ffs cant keep one off the bloody cats away from the pc never had a mod give out about it b4 .but we can say woe betide anyone who would dare accuse us off dog or cat shagging ,it must have been an animal hater ,and as you well know allways something suspicious about folks that dont like animals .:kick: :smoke:
hi guys...just read this, i think that sometimes it happens that an animal is by accident viewable on cam...unfortunately , because of the nature and sexual content of the site we always request people not to display their animals on cam, as totally innocent conversations often become peppered with sexual innuendos ...i myself have been kicked once because my yorkshire terrier was visible , at my to just display yourself on cam, im sure it wasnt personal, ill ask admin to post a reply here .
Hi All
All members have the right to report anyone who they feel are breaking the rules,Even if they are memebers of the Great Clique....
How dare you call anyone an arsehole... when you dont know the context of their report Tussey.(I amsure you will come up with a smart answer ...)
I have seen a moderater ..with a playpen in the background...on a cam...
The clique...dont own the site..
well frank, as it happens tussey is one of the few people who DOES know the full i told him....he also knows what happened afterwards, which u don't. Initially i wrote a very long post regarding the whole thing...not complaining about the mod, but highlighting a cpl of issues that i, and others, feel shud be addressed, but it took me so long to write it my session on the site timed out, and i couldn't be arsed to try and reconstruct it, so just posted that instead.
I have, in the not so dim and distant past, seen mods on cam with their animals, and other menbers as well, and nothing has been said.
Aurora hun, if u can tell me where exactly to find where it says no animals on cam I'd appreciate it if u cud tell me, coz it's not in the chat room rules that i can find....in my first post i quoted the rules verbatim as they pertain to camming, here's the url of the page i took them
It does say in the AUP that photos should not contain animals, but it does not say anything about them being on cam. that might sound like i'm splitting hairs, but if we r told to stick to the rules that are posted, then surely ALL the rules shoud be posted? Ther are quite a few of the rules that could do with either clarifying or having their definitions extended...one that springs to mind straight away is the ban on the mention of drugs and drug abuse - why has this not been extended to include alcohol abuse, which is a far more prevalent phenomena than abuse of drugs, both on the site and in real life?
my point in posting this thread was not as much to complain about being told to take the dog aff cam....it was to highlight the need for clarity in the rules and consistency from the mods - quite a few of whom i consider friends, and most if not all i take to be reasonable folks - not the first time this has been brought up by a long way, and probably not the last.
As for franks comments about "the great clique", ur making at least one assumption there mate - that being that either myself or the mod concerned are a part of it....well far as i'm aware neither of us are, although we both speak to the folks i think ur refering to...and trust me frank, if i'd had the slightest suspicion thats why it happened there would have been ructions from this end right there and then - i'm not afraid to speak my mind or defend my position, and am quite capable of doing both.
As it happens either the same evening or the next mrs los had words with another mod (who i would consider part of the clique) regarding the telling of jokes offensive to that certain section of the native population who's toes must never be trodden on, although a "joke" about burning black people wasn't commented on. Go figure.
Andy
PS..I'd love to hear what admin has to say about the animal thing...but i'm a firm believer in not legislating for idiots - let folks use their common sense regarding these things ffs, don't treat us like we are kids or stupid - yes, i know, some folks ARE stupid, but surely there should be an assumption of non-idiocy until someone proves that they ain't all there.
One last think in response to whay aurora said....there had been no inuendo regarding the dog b4hand, nor was there any after....we were actually talking about him so i just showed folks what he was like...even if i hadn't been asked to turn the cam off it would have been - and the mod concerned had been present in the room throughout it, so it really was unnecessary.
:Psorry to disapoint you frank but as los says a bove we did know the story (we dont and dont want to know who the mod was)but we would call any one an asshole who assumed that because a pet was seen on cam that it ,meant anything untoward ,as for this "great clique" you speak off could you please let us know what you mean mabye we are thick or something but we havnt a clue what your on about .or maybe you are just having ago at us for what ever reason either way we,ll not lose any sleep over it ,thanks for your input on pets on cam reguards the tusseys, yes there is two off us .:sticky:
one point in this thread i will pick up on .. fjvm your point about a mod with a playpen .. as long as there is no kid in it there is no issue there .. and really i think it ridiculous that it was brought up here ,, i agree with losmags that the rules need to be clarified on the animal on cam issue .. yes majority of people are not having animals on for any odd reason .. however there are a few that do, it can get out of hand so it is better if animals are not on cam , although i will say that if an animal passes by cam or if its ears etc in shot i wouldn't kick , a polite whisper to the member would suffice as it has happened that disgusting comments have been passed while animals are on cam ,, so it easier to avoid this situation to begin with .. and while im here this click thing is becoming rather annoying ... i would consider myself part of a few clicks but still talk to everyone and as a mod i defo do not play favorites as im sure one or two of ye on this thread know ..
losmags is right there is no mention of animals on cam listed in the rules and this does need to be clarified , the rules are open to change as you all know and get amended from time to time , admin has been notified about this and will clarify the situation
thanks for that bi.....i'm glad that one of the mod team has responded to this. as it happens what u said shud happen i.e. a quiet word WAS what happened...as i said b4 i'm not complaining about that, but i do feel that UNTIL the comments or innuendos start there isn't any harm in it, and mods shud be taking it in the context of what is going on in the chat room as they have no written guidelines (at the moment). there are much, much more offensive things that r said/seen in regular chat than the odd off-colour comment about someones dog - the cucumber being reversed onto springs to mind as a recent example - tat's put an awful lot of folks off salad for life hun!!!
to be honest if i was given the choice between clarity and confusion i'd vote for clarity, but we ain't kids on here, and admin seem awfully worried about their reputation, when actually it's OUR reputation that may be at risk by these things, although i'm far from convinced about that.
If , as u say, the rules are open to change, then I'd like to request formally that alcohol abuse be added to the list of proscribed subjects for the sake of balance. Just because something is legal doesn't mean it's "right", in the same way that something being illegal doesn't automatically make it "wrong" - to quote the late great Hunter S. Thomson... "morals are temporary, wisdom is permanent."
andy
hi guys,, here is admins input for ye... he doesnt have a problem with your pets ..lol
ADMINS REPLY IS..
RE: fwi post
I couldn't find that thread, also it looks like there isn't anything about animals in the chat rules, these need to be redone I think to make things simpler.
The whole animal thing in particular as I think the rule albeit unwritten at the moment is a bit naff and I for one don't have a problem if a cat or dog walks by so long as there's nothing illegal or distasteful going on.

hi steve, id be greatful if you could clarify this issue for the poster who posted his rant in the anything goes forum .. cheers
Hi Folks,
Sorry I was away for a bit.
I thank you for the measured responses from los and tussey to what was a bitchy reply from me in part, thank you.
In general noone on here is using the cam facility to market any out of rules ,quirks or picadillos and I personnally have not seen anything that has broken the rules...(some terrible hairstyles and clothing that should be banned)..lol
My main point was ..everyone should be free to express and or report something they feel is not in their comfort zone..or breaching AUP. And they should not be open to negative comments.
As for clique's its a bug bear of mine and let me reflect and give my thought's on that...as i thinks it more 'member of the club'.... that clique... which is fine by me... if that makes sense..
thanks
Frank
Hi Bicurious...
Just caught up on your post..in my opinion its not ridiculous...
rgds
Frank
ah fjvm or I think ill start calling you thorn as in thorn in my side .. if you can show me where i said your point was ridiculous ill do your washing/ironing for a month :giggle:
I said and ill quote ".. and really i think it ridiculous that it was brought up here "
Never did I say your opinion was ridiculous , your opinion is your own and I wouldn't say that , I was simply pointing out that in MY opinion it was ridiculous to put that point here on this thread or maybe there's some obscure connection between animals and playpens (that im sure you will point out)
see you in rooms,
regards :inlove:

Hi BiCur...
My one boast would be I always do my own ironing..lol and again guess I was doing my Bob Dylan routine..In saying what I want..no offence meant to anyone..
I must admit I am happy with all the replies received on the thread, even though I dont agree with them all..(But thats allowed)...
And as the song says.... 'Every Rose..has its thorn..'
Now..where was that other post about the 'Big Boobs......'
take care
Frank
:P or as the godfather off grunge sings "love is a rose but you better not pick it":bounce::rose:
No animals should be visible on cam. has been added to the chat rules.
quick question, if a dog wanders on cam by mistake and then is removed are ppl gonna get kicked? bcos we got a lil puppy and sumtimes accidents happen?
ha ha addies nope that post staying :giggle:
as for animals wandering on cam , common sense has to be used here and in a case of an cat/dog etc coming into shot accidentely no owner would not be kicked , however the rule would be pointed out to them and i would ask that they remove the animal from view to avoid situations that can cause problems ,
