what would you do if you saw a friend/neighbour/work collegue on cam in a chatroom, recognised their pics on a profile or met them at a "meet& greet".
Personally my first reaction would be " I never would have guessed, followed by a fair play to them"
I don't think I would send them a message to say "hi I am here too". nor would I expect them to be any friendlier to me than if we bumped into one another on the street and I certainly would not expect to "shag them" just because they are on this site.
More importantly I would never "out" them, their private life is just that private. I would respect their privacy & I would expect the same.
However the fear that Ireland is a village rightly or wrongly persists, the recent newspaper articles have not helped, it is probably more acceptable to be gay in Ireland than to be a swinger. Yet across the water in the UK (with a very gossip led tabloid press) nearly every large town/city has a club where like minded people can meet.
when will we become enlightened/
Swinging for me is a chosen life style, I prefer my privacy and return same to anyone I meet on or off site..
I would not approach anyone away from the site to inform them I am aware they are members, and if I met another swinger in public I would firstly assume they feel the same.
People have been swinging in Ireland for years, it is only through the medium of the internet that it appears more prevalent..
As for clubs or lack of them in Ireland, so what, clubs are just another avenue to explore within swining no big deal to me if they ar enot available here.
hey
Myself and my hubby have come across a few people we either lived in the same area as or worked with on this site and i have to say we all had respect for each other..... was funny at first though because we didnt expect them to be on here lol but we all agree that our private lives are our private lives and we chat and have a laugh....
and one couple we have become good friends with and they know we would never tell their business to others....
So i do think if you do meet people u know in every day life are on this site do have some respect for them and that as it can be hard at times swinging in ireland with out every one knowing what your doing....
jen & James xxxxxxxx
though this might be of interest to some of the newer members, as it also links into the thread about being shouted at on the street.
I have to agree with amber I wouldnt tell my neighbours I recognized them and would expect the same respect from them....am still waiting for the day when someone comes to my checkout and says hi meme lol will faint lol but as long as they say it quietly wont have a problem with it xxxxxxxannyxxxx
xxx
Psst Meme, I'll whisper in your ear as I purchase the ribbed ones for extra sensitivity. Would your complexion turn a rosy hue? xx
I don't think rosey hue would quite describe the colour my complexion would turn lance..........more like fire engine red lol xxxx annyxxx
So if we invoked the words of the mad-eyed Roy Wood and, "ran and got the Fire Brigade", would the gushing rubber hoses quell the fire of the passionate, squirting Lance and the effervescent, squirting Anny?
if i knew someone on here ,i wudnt say anything or mail them ,i think its all a bout being discreete, and we all have the right to discression,
