I love the forums - I have a great laugh in them and even my daughter helps with Name that Band etc..... No I keep the banner hidden from her haha.... But sometimes they (the topics or direction) get very heavy and unpleasant to see. Love the way some people can turn serious into humour with just no effort - LongJ I mean you and muldern too - two lunatics hahaha.... 
I would be same as amber with the forums, but agree with virgo, hence a warning has gone up, ppl should read it, besause any more nonsense or we get any more complaints, then posts, thread, and possible members will be removed, and it wont make any difference who it does, people either move on or move off!!

Sherri I for one on occasions have used these forums to react to situations , in particular when I have read unpleasant remarks passed at good friends..
I will hold my hands up and admit that, rather than take a hypocrital stance and pretend otherwise..
However I respect the fact that other members have the right to enjoy these forums without reading crap for want of a better word, so as a mark of respect for them, I will not be indulging in the future, and wil be ignoring snide and unessicary comments if they appear..
I admire your honesty virgo, and I know others have been in situations, and done the exact same as yourself, but as you say, ppl in general dont want to see personality clashes (for want of a better phrase) on the board to such an extent. Its time for everyone to walk away from all this, live and learn from it, and get back to enjoying the forums and the site again, we all have enough hardship in our real lives, without making it a chore to come here...be well..xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
As a user of the forums I too hate to see the way that nastiness has crept into some of them recently. I admit to using the forum to react to a personal situation but I felt it was the only way open to me to clear my name.
While I accept and respect that the forums are for fun and enjoyments of others and no one wants to be reading the type of crap that was directed at individuals recently, there has to be an outlet for members to clear there name when the gossip/rumour mongers /liars try to ruin it.
Sometimes its done in such an underhand way that its not as simple as complaining the perpetrator/s to admin.
This is my final post on the topic, onward and upward. Live and let live.
