Folks,
We are all sick of gossip, the whispers, lets just drop them, we are all Adults and here for the same reason.
There maybe for whatever reason some people don't get on, that's a fact of life, but in general we all do. Yes some more than others, but lets not turn the site into a "they said, he said, she said scenario" we all have our pals on site, our favourites!
Lets get back to the real reason why we joined:
To have fun, craic and a potential meet! at the same time showing respect to others.
may i ask ...what this thread is about ?
Padds while I do see merit in your post, I think everyone who joins knows why they are here (whatever their reason) and as for the gossip etc , anywhere you get a collective of people that is going to happen , yes its frustrating and annoying at times but we are all guilty of it and anyone who says they arent is lying , and as for your remark to ava about locking the thread , yes its posted in Anything goes but as you well know from your own past experience , mods can and will lock a thread that in any way is deemed to be not in the best interest of the site or its members , be it posted in Anything goes or not .
No need for apology at all hun
On sites like this there's always rumours and speculation, things always work out in the end.
This was a site with a lot of problems a year back and its come on in leaps and bounds, the mod team have done a great job in making it a better place getting shot of fakers and trying to make sure that everyone sticks to the rules.
The social side of the site is growing as well with more people organising events, as admins we do need to put some more tools in place to make it easier.
For our part we also need to speed things up here, moving the chaservers to the UK helped, but the site is still running in the USA, within the next few weeks we hope to move it to our new servers at a data center in the UK, that should make everything quicker and more reliable.
I don't know what these rumours are, but there's a high probability that most are bollox or exagerated, if in doubt ask as a specific question very often gets an honest answer.
