Time that admin put all of these whinge posts into one section, called the WHINGERS THREADS..
It would save the genuine members, (who get on with meeting people, enjoying the fun element, the chat, the forums) having to suffer posts like this..

After less than a month of being members here - whinging about not meeting 'real people' may be 'honest' but it doesn't reflect on the site truly.
There's thousands of lovely folks on the site all too willing to meet - if Fate has her 'Ts' crossed and 'Is' dotted. Location, likes/dislikes, Location, accessibilty, Location, Transport and Accommodation, Location, family commitments, Location, Matching expectations - Location and Personal Safety are some - but not all - factors that have to be worked though before a meet takes place - it's not just a case of "drop what you're doing, slip into your sexy pants and go running at the first 'come hither' e-mail" routine that the whingers seem to believe is what Swinging Sites gives them access to.

Frank, I feel genuinely bad for having made fun of Carrot's post, and I hope he'll look at this again to see my apology. You're right, he makes a valid complaint, and as much as we're newcomers to this as well, I'll try to respond seriously.
We also felt really pissed off with the whole setup, and quite ready to give it all up, when we'd been on the site about the same amount of time as Carrottop. It seemed nobody was for real, that everyone misrepresented themselves on their ads.
It's also true that joining the site is indeed free, but it's a blatant attempt to draw you into a paid membership. That's just marketing for you, people do need to draw in more customers and the owners of the site are not doing anything different from what a braodband provider is doing right now, offering free wifi... until 31 March. You get used to internet access wherever you go, then bam it's gone and you still want it, so you pay because you've had a taste of it.
I hope, Carrottop, that you'll give the site more time, as we found perseverance is necessary when you decide to enter this lifestyle. There are nice people on here, lovely genuine guys who are a joy to get to know.
I'm sorry also if we gave the impression of considering ourselves great swingers and seemed lofty, it's certainly not how we feel. We also have our ups and downs, as you might have gathered from my post this past weekend when I was stood up by an acquaintance I had spent time and effort to cultivate. We're really all in this together, but I think there will naturally be a contingent who are more likely to participate in the forums, being more internet-inclined and chatty. Personally I took to the forums and chat room like a duck to water as I have years of experience building online friendships through a long-established blog I have on another server.
I hope that reply cancels out the negativity you felt over the sarcasm, but to be honest, people were just having a bit of fun.

frank, i don't think I've seen a constructive comment from you on these forums, and while i haven't read ALL of them, i've browsed a fair number. I don't think boo or anyone else needs to be giving out an apology when the guy basically accused us of being constructs of admins imagination.....most of the people who post and chat on here are far too diverse and complicated for admin to create, and if they had they would be psychotic from talking to themselves all the time. Perhaps if you took part in the chat a little more you would realise this....hell, you might even find yourself having fun, you just never know.
As for the fact that carrottop has obviously found no one who wants to swing with them, there are a lot of factors that might come into play....the mans age, the fact they have no pics, the minimal profile...all these thing are obviously having a bearing on the situation, added to the fact that they are new. I have seen carrottop in chat a few times, but never spotted them really chatting to anyone...another possible factor in their lack of success? Seems like it's more likely that they don't have the right approach than it's a big plot by admin when you think about it. There will always be people who blame their failures on others rather than admit that they could themselves be responsible even in part for the situation....
