There has been a lot of complaints lately about problems with staying in chatrooms etc , there seems to be a problem with peoples ISP , below is admins response ,as you will read the same problems occured on a sister site , hopefully it might be of some help to you Admins response another member had the same type of problems they were using 3g to connect, I think its an isp issue, like everything there will be exceptions where people have low memory, a dodgy cache or firewall, or they don't have the latest version of flash installed, but I suspect for most experiencing this exact issue using 3g to connect they need to get in touch with the ISP. We had similar issues with a UK site where members using a certain ISP in chat about a year or so back, it turned out that this ISP were the cause, this is what we advised the members at the time, have a read through, maybe there's something in there that you could use in contacting your ISP; You will be aware that #### has a fair usage policy but some of their customers are file sharing during evening hours and causing the whole service to grind to a halt. They have consequently implemented a service to most customers onto a list named ### - whilst on this list, you will not be able to file share, to apparently improve the service speed. However this is effecting more than just file sharing software - all flash application sites, gaming networks and any half decent site that needs communication which create problems. At my home, I use this ISP and I am being affected by this so you are not alone being highly frustrated at them. The normal #### service list is named ####### - I know many members have requested to be moved onto this list but I think they have either been fobbed off by saying it is a fault our end or they have claimed it is a DNS issue. ################ At present there is not much that we can do, ##### are stopping RMTP traffic during evening hours which the chat room needs. It might be worth contacting them like other members have but unfortunately there is nothing else to suggest.
Errrrrrrrrrrrrrrr That is too vague for a techno-no-whizz!!! If I ring 3 - what do I need to tell them in order for me to get back into the chatrooms? Marie Lost in Cyber World Ether!!!
eating time mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Try something like this; Dear Sir / Madam, RE: Network Traffic Shaping I frequently use an online chatroom which makes use of live video streaming. I can't currently connect to the chatroom and the website support has advised me that my ISP (yourselves) is blocking the traffic on the specific ports required for the chatroom to operate. To be specific; RTMP protocol on Port 1935. I would be grateful if you could allow this connectivity so I can continue to use the services of the website. Kind Regards Those may or may not be the cause but we do know that 3G are aware that they have issues for people using things like this and also online gaming sites, every person that complains makes the case stronger for them to sort it out.
Bicur, this is not just a 3G prob, the site has become busy, the servers can not cope with the demand, this happened on UK site Two years ago, the UK site now have 4 Servers to cope with the extra traffic/ x Pads

Loads isn't an issue, also that UK site is one of ours so we know all about it.
The issues Friday afternoon and evening were down to a configuration issue that wasn't resolved until later in the evening.
Hey all If your using a 3G network the DNS Server may not always connect however it may appear to, this is common on mobile broadband Dongles. A good way you can check is if your msm signs in automaticaly, if not just disconnect and reconnect. Hope this helps? Ta... S
i have had the same issue the past 2 weeks. Waste of time getting in touch with 3G i have had a running battle with their service for the past 4 months and got no where as their service is rubbish and one gets fobbed off everytime u have an issue. They appear to have done this with most chat sites as i use another quiet frequently and am having the same issue im on for less than a min and the whole lot freezes what a joke.
