chat rooms freezing

an open letter to admin..... dear admin.. since the new multi cam room have come on line,,every time we go into said rooms,after a short while the room either freezes,or just goes blank,,,now i first thought it was my lap top,,so i dropped it into get it fixed,,but its also happening on our pc,,and still happening on lap yis please look into this for us as its doing our heads in,,, rant over.. yours a very frustrated room user

lucan, I've been seeing this happen to a lot of folks. My personal theory is the problem lies within Adobe Flash player not keeping in step with new operating systems and browsers. Used to be the right hand knew what the left was doing... I actually have the most recent version for my system and I got a message on another site that said I need to upgrade my Flash player. Never got this message before I upgraded... dunno

I think EP is correct here, maybe try getting the latest version of Adobe. Alternatively you could try using Mozilla FIREFOX as a browser infact ADMIN recommends it on the Chatroom Login page. I use it and have no problems.

No,Padds,,It's not that I don't like FireFox,,but,,what you haven't explained here,is that is don't work for everyone! In My case,FireFox did look great,and,it's easy to work with,,but,I installed it,as I was having bother with doing the "Auth" for some of the pics here,,and,when I ran in on FireFox,it sorted the problem! HowEver though,what also happened was,,I started having huge trouble accessing My mails,Through " ". As I was moving from one addy to another,I kept having to sign in,each and every time,with both My username,and passwords,which,is not the way I had it set! This is despite clicking on the option for FireFox to remember the passwords,and login details. It got so bad,even just after a few days,it would not let Me into My mails at all,saying all My details were wrong. I had to access My mails using Our Laptop,which did not have FireFox. I solved the problem,by Un-Installing FireFox,and everything went back to normal. Now I can access My mails again,without any bother! So,to be fair Padds,While you sing praises for FireFox,,you should also remind people that it does NOT work for EveryOne. Just because,you and a few others have No bother with it,don't mean it'll work the same for everyone else!!
