For the last limerick m and g I didn't feel like driving alone (more importantly to avoid driving home exhausted), so I got a private bus from Dublin city centre, 20 euro return, very comfortable and it left me a fifteen minute walk from the hotel. Lets just be clear here would mr grey be welcome with or without ID? Or has an insuling two tier system now been switched to a three tier one? I am perhaps being slightly flipant there but thought it needed to be asked.
i understand certain rules are required but respect is very important to me and I feel respect is a two way thing ie. there needs to be respect on both sides. I'm just not seeing that in this set up as described here. I shall not be attending.

Aside from that minor quibble I think its a good idea. A travelling meet and greet as it were. What I would say is when a smallish town is selected and advertised then it would be hard to keep from publicity the exact location (due to a smaller number of possible locations, something to keep in mind). I might suggest a Saturday be selected instead of Friday however to allow 9 to 5 types travel etc.
Anyway all in all a great idea and one that many would embrace (if you pardon the easily assumed pun) :lol:

Mids, I heard from another single fem that the bar man / men were nice to her, well I saw one of them being an absolute ignorant f*ck to many lads. He also didn't know or at least refused to consistently serve people in order, left to right or right to left or whatever. He wasn't consistent in his serving which really frustrates people. I'd to queue about 15 minutes for my first drink, thankfully my other 2 drinks took less time as more staff 'appeared'.
I enjoyed the night. It was let down by some flaws. Organising events is no easy task and only to be commended it's just a shame that those things like narky staff happened. It was like he was p*ssed off at us for being so rude as to walk into his drinking establishment and request a beverage, I mean what were we thinking!!
I would say however I have been at many M and G's in rooms too large for the crowd, my personal opinion is better too small than too large but not everyone might agree.
