Hi Folks, after a great time last week in Dublin, i am just putting the feelers out there as to the interest in a small intimate party in cork city next friday. Seems a bit OTT for me TBH, I'm certainly won't be going, giving a utility bill is a bit OTT, TOO many rules for single guys....what is the big fear about single guys ???? A lot of couples on S4I are a single girl and single guy....do they need the same ID ? There's a difference in charging more as u say ,but in this case. Its charging one section of society nothing while asking another section to cough up !! It's discrimination !!

a meet and greet with 4 couples and 2-3 singles = 11 people... Most meet and greets have from 50-100 at them.. that's why it seems like a party... If you go to the trouble of organising one, you should try get a large number, in my experience , you could have 20-30 couples, 10-15 single girls and 10-15 single guys.. Its much better craic, lots of people to talk to and have the banter with. with a very small group, if 1-2 couples or singles don't get on, makes for a difficult night... this is only my suggestion...

Asmav, your headline add says meet and greet, however your most recent response suggests a party, i think you should clarify what you are organising. Meet and greets don't usually tend to have strict quotos.

Hey All, I was intrigued to see that the membership of the site is a whopping 125,496. Very impressive...or is it... I decided to use the sites search function to get some "real time stats". I did a search of females, males and couples who have being active within the last 30 days. Results males: 4,891 or % Females 405 0r % couples 1680 or % This means that there are 7% or 8,778 active members in the last 30 days, out of 125,496. I think ADMIN should do something to make the active membership figures more realistic!!Or maybe its a ploy to entice more paid members ?? what do ye think??
